Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance grants are available to all 37 Archdiocesan Catholic elementary schools. The amount of assistance is based on the school's Tier ranking and the family's financial qualifications.  Tuition assistance grants vary for each Tier and have two award amounts based on whether the family qualifies for the National School Lunch Program's "free" (first amount listed-primary) or "reduced" lunch (second amount listed-secondary).  Families receiving assistance are required to contribute financially to each child's tuition based on their financial capabilities.

Each year, Seeds of Hope and the Office of Catholic Schools work together to review the financial position of each school and calculate the Tier structure.  Contact your child's school to find out where it falls in the structure for the 2008-2009 school year.

  Method to Make the Awards

Eligible families are required to demonstrate their financial need as measured by standards similar to the Federal school lunch program, which takes into account family size.  Scholarships are awarded to all eligible children in a family to attend a Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Denver. Applications must be complete and include the required financial documentation.  If the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available scholarships, a waiting list will be established based on the date and time the application was received.
